Sessions

Please read J.Faith Photography's booking terms below and then complete the following fields:

I. Capturing Desired Photographs & Artistic Rights: J Faith Photography (here forth referred to as "Photographer") is not liable to deliver every image taken at session. The Photographer retains the right of discretion in selecting the photographic materials released to the client.

II. Production, Editing and photo delivery: The final postproduction and editing styles, effects, and overall look of the images are left to the discretion of Photographer. The Client agrees they have seen examples of Photographers work, and will not expect Photographer to differentiate in editing styles. RAW and/or unedited images will not be delivered to client. Client will receive photos via digital format through an online client gallery which they may download. 

III. Clients Usage: The Client shall only use photo files in accordance with the permissions within this agreement.

• a. Digital Print Release: Client receives full rights and privileges print all photos taken. The Client’s prints are for personal use only and shall not be submitted into contests, reproduced for commercial use or authorize any reproductions by parties other than the Photographer. The Client must act in accordance with this release.
• b. PROHIBITED Client-self Edits: client editing to photos is prohibited under the agreement to this contract. Client agrees to maintain the work produced by Photographer and refrain from self editing such as: Cropping, adding filters (via snapchat, instagram, facebook, etc.), color retouching or any other means of editing that could taint the original work produced by Photographer. 
• c. Social Media: The Client may share blog post links, Instagram posts, and Facebook albums through use of the share functions and post release images in any other fashion the photographer provides under the conditions listed in Section III, Subsection b of this contract (PROHIBITED Client-Self Edits). Client shall not copy, screenshot, or capture the photographs in any other fashion (ie: saving or screenshotting on Facebook/Instagram) . Client MUST credit/tag J. Faith Photography in any posts or shares of their own. The photographs should also not be edited in anyway such as extra filters, text, blurring, cropping, etc.​IV. Copyright and Reproductions: The Photographer shall own the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions for, including but not limited to, marketing materials, portfolio entries, sample products, editorial submissions and use, or for display within or on the Photographer’s website, social media, and/or studio. If the Photographer desires to make other uses, the Photographer shall not do so without first obtaining written permission of the Client; it is understood that any duplication or alteration of original images is strictly prohibited {Copyright Law Title 17, Appendix V. Additional provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act 2005, Section 102} without the written permission of the Photographer.

​V. WEATHER (for outdoor bookings): Client understands the uncertainty of weather and the role that it may play in photography outcome. In the event of unexpected weather changes, Photographer will leave discretion to client to either move forward with photography or reschedule. If client chooses to move forward with booking despite photographer’s judgement, client understands the uncertainty of session outcome and forfeits rights to reschedule for a second session in the event they are unhappy with photo outcome.

VI. Turnaround Time of Photos: Client can expect photos within 3-4 weeks of session date. Client may request rush to be placed on photos for additional fee.  

​VII. Price Quote Agreement: Client agrees to session pricing given prior to signing of this agreement. 

VIII. PAYMENT: Payment is due prior to services being performed. Payment can be paid by cash, check (made out to J. Faith Co.) or by card via Venmo (@jfaith-photos), CashApp ($jfaithphotos), or paypal (small fee is added for card transaction processed via paypal).

• STUDIO BOOKINGS: All studio bookings are an additional $50 charge. This is added on to the standard session price (ex. Couple Session $250 + $50 Studio Rental = Total Cost of $300). This additional cost is non-refundable and is due at the time of booking in order to reserve the studio location for you photoshoot. STUDIO SESSIONS WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED UNTIL $50 STUDIO CHARGE IS RECIEVED.

 XI. Travel Cost: additional fees shall be added for travel costs. Fees vary by location and shall be discussed between Photographer and Client prior to signing of this agreement. 

X. Cancellation & Rescheduling: If the client chooses to cancel their booking they must do so in at least 72 hrs in advance. Client understands and agrees that Photographer will not book other sessions or weddings during this time. In the event that Client cancels or fails to attend the session date, for any reason, Photographer shall suffer losses that are difficult to ascertain.

XI. ** Seasonal Mini Specials: Clients who book seasonal mini special understands that full payment is due at the time of booking. Payment is non-refundable and client understands that 72 hour notice is required for cancellations in order to reserve the right to reschedule or credit payment towards a future session.
